Expressive Arts Festival 2011 – A Big Success
New Foundation Center celebrated another wonderful arts festival displaying hundreds of member created paintings, drawings, and photography. Original jewelry, masks, baskets and picture frames were also for sale. The New Foundation Center Choir and Drumming Group entertained and individual members sang, played guitar and read their original prose and poems. It was a true expression of the arts!
We honored Karla Rindal, facilitation director and Barbara Goldberg, facilitator both with the Open Studio Project in Evanston for their dedication to making opportunities for artistic expression accessible to all.
